Looking to elevate your organization, and bring it to the next level? Bring on learners from University of California, Riverside to be your learner-consultants, in a project-based experience. Learners will work on one main project over the experience of the semester, connecting with you as needed with virtual communication tools.


Projects and process management are critical factors in business today. Each project is comprised of multiple processes and how they are directly interrelated with each other. In this course, we will examine how to map out and establish project and process management strategies to improve performance, productivity, and profit using the business model canvas and other strategic tools to achieve the desired outcomes.

Deliverables are negotiable, and will seek to align the needs of the learners and the organization. 


Some final project deliverables might include: 


  1. A 10-15 minute presentation on key findings and recommendations
  2. A detailed report including their research, analysis, insights and recommendations

Project Examples

Requirements

Learners in groups of 3-5 will work with your company to identify your needs and provide actionable recommendations, based on their in-depth research and analysis.


Project activities that learners can complete may include, but are not limited to: 


Assess the relationship between project, processes, people, teams, and business performance.

Examine relevant strategies and develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and create a project team.

Focus on Project and Process Management metrics for the expected outcomes and results.

Create Project deliverables for Company project of your choice.

Companies must answer the following questions to submit a match request to this experience:

Be available for an initial project scope meeting with the learner to confirm project scope, communication styles, and important dates

Company ready to interact on email and answer student questions related to company project.
