Our students in the Digital Forensics and Incident Response, Information Assurance, and Risk Management programs are equipped with a robust understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and the latest technologies. They are trained to address complex security challenges, safeguard digital assets, and manage risks effectively. The majors in this focused group are:

  • Digital Forensics and Incident Response
  • Information Assurance
  • Risk Management

During their internship, students will undertake one or more projects aligned with your organization's specific needs, providing innovative solutions and fresh insights into security and risk management. Their ability to seamlessly integrate with your team is supported by their proficiency in virtual communication tools and collaborative platforms.

Project Examples

Students can complete a substantial project for your organization over the placement period. We suggest providing a starting project, but as the placement goes on there may be other duties or projects the student is asked to complete as well. Providing a central project creates structure for the internship, and gives the student (and company) a tangible goal.
