Learner goals and capabilities

Work Integrated Learning (WIL) is the key to career success. WIL is experiential learning at its best. The School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts (SHTCA) at Centennial College believes that students develop and hone their skills when exposed to hands-on learning. By completing a project or participating in virtual placement with an Employer Partner, you are providing our students with the opportunity to start their careers with tremendous momentum.

Special Event Planning students looking for opportunities to showcase their learning through a capstone project will be responsible for planning and executing exciting events for the college community and industry partners. Students will work closely with faculty supervisors, college staff and industry partners during their project.
