The main objective of this project is to gather feedback from students through beta testing of new client websites, conduct competitive analysis, and perform data analysis. Students will help identify any issues with the website's functionality, usability, and overall user experience (UI/UX).


The problem students will be solving is ensuring that the website meets the needs and expectations of its target audience, which includes students seeking information and resources related to their education and career development. Additionally, students will conduct competitive analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of similar websites in the industry.


By the end of the project, students are expected to provide valuable feedback that will help improve the website's design and functionality, conduct a comprehensive competitive analysis to identify key market trends and opportunities, and perform data analysis to draw insights and make informed decisions for website enhancements. This will ultimately create a more user-friendly experience for all users and position clients as a leading platform in their industry.

Deliverables
  1. Website Beta Testing:
  • Create demo accounts on the new Client websites.
  • Navigate through the website to test its functionality and usability.
  • Provide feedback on the user experience, including how the website looks and its overall ease of use.
  1. Competitive Analysis:
  • Identify key competitors in the education industry.
  • Analyze competitors' websites to understand their features, design elements, and user experience.
  • Compare Client websites with competitors' websites to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  1. Data Analysis:
  • Collect and analyze feedback from website beta testing.
  • Use data analysis tools to identify trends and patterns in user feedback.
  • Draw insights from the data to make informed decisions for website improvements.
  1. Digital Marketing Analysis:
  • Evaluate Client's current digital marketing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in digital marketing efforts.
  • Make recommendations for digital marketing strategies based on competitive analysis and data analysis findings.
  1. Report Generation:
  • Compile findings from website beta testing, competitive analysis, and data analysis into a comprehensive report.
  • Present the report to stakeholders, including recommendations for website improvements and digital marketing strategies.
  1. Implementation of Recommendations:
  • Work with the website development team to implement recommended changes to the website.
  • Monitor the impact of the changes and make further adjustments as needed.

By completing these tasks, students will contribute to the successful beta testing of the new Client websites, conduct a thorough competitive analysis, and perform data analysis to drive informed decisions for website improvements and digital marketing strategies.

Mentorship
  1. Staff Guidance: Faculty and mentors will provide guidance and support to students, offering expertise in digital marketing, data analysis, and UI/UX design.
  2. Access to Tools and Technology: Students will have access to necessary tools and technologies, such as data analysis software, design tools, and digital marketing platforms.
  3. Data Access: Relevant data needed for the project, including website analytics and competitor data, will be provided to students.
  4. Training Sessions: Workshops and training sessions will be conducted to enhance students' skills in digital marketing, data analysis, and UI/UX design.
  5. Feedback Mechanism: A structured feedback mechanism will be in place to provide students with regular feedback on their progress and deliverables.
  6. Collaborative Environment: Opportunities for collaboration with peers and mentors will be facilitated, allowing students to learn from each other's experiences and insights.

Our background is in servicing the dental industry, however, we have grown through referrals with non-dental clients, consisting of small and medium-sized businesses from a variety of industries (healthcare, home renovations, technology, real estate, etc.). We aim to build websites with careful thought on user experiences, functionality, increased conversions, and a balance of beautiful design layouts and SEO-rich content to help drive site traffic into conversions.
