Details

Setting ourselves apart is crucial to attracting new customers, which we hope to accomplish in part through vibrant, compelling videos. Through this project, students will script, produce and edit videos for our products.

Tasks may involve:

  • Brainstorming various ideas for the video structure and content, and creating a storyboard for what the video will look like.
  • Creating a compelling script promoting our products.
  • Putting together a proposal for (whoever is running the project)including the storyboard and script.
  • Meeting with (whoever is running the project) to discuss the proposal, and making any changes necessary.
  • Filming and editing the final video.
Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following list of activities (this is basically a retelling of the steps above):

  • Constructed a storyboard showcasing the various shots, scenes or segments of the video.
  • Written a compelling script highlighting the products.
  • Submitted a proposal for the video including the storyboard, script and a short write up of the ideas and thought process behind it.
  • Met with (whoever is running the project) to discuss the proposal and made any changes necessary.
  • Filmed the video and completed post-production editing.

Bonus steps would include:

  • Speaking with and interviewing employees to incorporate testimonies into the video.

Final deliverables should include

  • A completed set of videos of our product
Mentorship

Students will connect directly with us for mentorship throughout the project. We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

  • What products we offer?
  • What the video will be about?
