Details

The main goal for the project is to redesign the community hall of S Farms to create a more functional and aesthetically pleasing space for the community members to gather and host events. The design should reflect the values of S Farms and provide a welcoming environment for all visitors.

This will involve several different steps for the students, including:

- Meeting with representatives to understand their vision and requirements for the redesign.

- Conducting a site visit and analysis of the current community hall space.

- Developing design concepts and drawings for the new layout and aesthetics.

- Selecting appropriate lighting fixtures and countertops that align with the overall design concept.

- Presenting the design proposal to S Farms for feedback and revisions.

Deliverables

By the end of the project, students should complete the following tasks:

- Design concepts and drawings for the new community hall layout.

- Selections of lighting fixtures and countertops that complement the design.

- A presentation of the design proposal to including any revisions based on feedback.

Final deliverables:

- Detailed design plans for the community hall including renderings

- Specifications for the selected lighting and countertops.

- A final presentation showcasing the design process and outcomes.

This renovation has an approved budget and will begin in March 2024. Contractors are lined up and we are looking for talented students to help being our vision to life.
