The primary goal for this role is to take responsibility for all content creation, with a strong emphasis on producing engaging and impactful reels, and graphics using tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite. The aim is to effectively promote and market sustainability initiatives, conveying their importance and impact to a wider audience through compelling multimedia content.

Deliverables

Students will have several tasks to complete and can choose to work on any of the following:


  • Producing engaging videos, gifs, reels, and high-quality graphics
  • Utilizing tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design
  • Demonstrating proficiency in using all social media platforms
  • Developing print and online promotional and marketing content
  • Curating a robust marketing strategy to increase our following and d engagement across our platforms  
  • Effectively communicating the significance and impact of sustainability initiatives
  • Reaching a wide audience through establishing relationships with influencers and creating community marketing partnerships 
  • Conducting outreach for sustainability initiatives via tabling and collecting contact information
  • Setting up efficient system of collecting contact information and inputting this information into our databases and mailing lists
  • Putting together lecture announcements and participating in tabling


Deliverables include:

  • Videos of 2-3 reels created
  • Uploads of our mailing lists
  • Script for lecture announcements and tabling
Mentorship

We will support our students in the following ways:

  • Weekly office hours
  • Weekly one hour check-in
  • Ongoing mentorship and career coaching
