The goal of this project is to send 20 emails to a large community of teachers on our existing email list. The project aims to convert the reader to a buyer and attendee of our summer conference, Camp for Teachers. For this project, the student will adopt the tone and values of the company in their writing, and focus on one key aspect per email, ending with a strong Call to Action to register for the conference. The emails will be relatively short in length, use casual and engaging language and the use of some memes or graphics on occasion.

The student will complete their work in a Google Doc started by the company. This doc will outline the topic of each email, and the company will provide examples of past emails so the student can learn the tone and language used in our regular emails.

The 20 emails will be focused on aspects of the event like:

• The workshops being offered
• The live events taking place
• The sponsors and prizes
• The ability to have union reimbursement
• The reason camp is so memorable
• Testimonials and reviews from past events
• Sneak peeks into the virtual event space
• Reminders to register before price increases
• Highlighting specific speakers
• Outlining the power of community

Students who work with our company will always have an initial onboarding meeting to kick off the project, review expectations and get acquainted. Communication will be ongoing throughout the project, with scheduled check-ins to be initiated regularly by the company. Students will be provided, templates, examples, and access to all accounts / insights necessary to be successful with their project.
