Rx Outreach is the largest non-profit digital pharmacy in the United States and serves people who are uninsured or under-insured. We desire to have a mobile app so that people who struggle with illness and high medication costs can easily search our medications and prices and be connected to our website to enroll and order medications.

• We are seeking a group of students to identify key areas of our website that might translate to a mobile application and then design a mobile application based on our patient's needs

Since pharmacy/healthcare is a highly regulated industry, the mobile app would need to help patients enroll and manage their prescriptions through our website.

• Identify which parts of the website could and would best be replicated on a mobile app, such as:

1. Enrollment income guidelines (only people earning under 400% of the federal poverty line can join Rx Outreach)
2. Search Medications and Prices
3. Connect with website to enroll, enter the patient portal
4. Find phone numbers to call, fax numbers to fax, prescription details to share with their doctor

• Design, build, and test mobile app

Our Marketing Director and other senior team members will work directly with the team to assure that they have all the tools and information needed for a successful project. We will meet as needed to discuss the project and explain Rx Outreach and our role in the healthcare safety net in the US.

We will be able to provide answers to questions such as:

• Patient on-boarding and ordering experience
• Any sort of branding or styling advice
• Input on choices, problems or anything else the students might encounter
