The Project

Using React Native + JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS, you will be developing an application based on high quality wireframes that can send/receive/store data from an external device over bluetooth.

The Milestones

1. The application resembles the provided wireframes.
2. The application can connect to the external device over bluetooth.
3. The application can send and receive data from the external device.
4. The application can store data received from the external device.

Your Responsibilities

• Client-Side Development: Develop new features and user interfaces from detailed wireframe models that run on both Android and IOS devices.
• Server-Side Development: Build and manage a database solution to store user and device data. Develop administration tools that allow the display and manipulation of data.
• Hardware Connectivity: Ensure Android and IOS apps communicate effectively with hardware devices through bluetooth.
• Clean, Readable, and Documented Code: Ensure our software is following best practices when it comes to coding, version control, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with React Native + JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Strong experience deploying applications to both Apple and Android devices.
• Experience connecting mobile applications to external devices through Bluetooth.
• Experience building databases.
• Experience with system architecture is a strong advantage.
• Experience in the biomedical field is an asset.
