Project scope
What is the main goal for this project?

One Iota Golf Performance has developed a software platform that helps athletes and coaches track on-course and off-course performance and uniquely mental performance. The platform has evolved significantly over time and grown from a basic web app to one supporting various roles, organizations and a mobile app. Currently we are performing a design audit of the web app design to identify areas that the existing user interface and experience can be improved. This project is directly connected to that work.

The main focus of this project is the following:

  • Update the existing web app interface to incorporate the adjustments made.
  • Update the platform APIs to accommodate changes to the interface.
What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

The exact tasks required to complete the project will be up to the team and can be adapted as needed to achieve the goals and purpose of the project. The general tasks will include:

  • Backend Development in TypeScript
  • Frontend Development with JS, JQuery, Tailwind, HTML, EJS
  • Updating and Building API contracts
  • Updating existing implementations for the revised design.

The final deliverables will be:

  • A revised web application meeting the design
  • Supporting documentation for the web app design as needed
