The proceeds from our merch/online store are reinvested back into supporting and building resources for people of ABCL descent. This project will include a variety of communications and marketing related tasks from content curation (with already existing images) all the way to content execution (via scheduling apps) passing by shopify web editing (only for those that are interested in learning or comfortable with the task).
This project can start as early as Monday, June 13th pending the right match. The ideal candidate would start their first day on Monday, July 4th.
- Learn about our audience and the products (Supporting material available such as a marketing report)
- Creating copywriting and text that can entice audience to take action
- Creating a marketing plan for the summer (with supervisor support)
- Creating social media ads/content using professional pictures
- Setting up Email marketing campaigns
Students will connect directly with our marketing and leadership team for mentorship and supervision throughout the project. Furthermore, students will also get access to the necessary tools and softwares they need to accomplish their tasks such as but not limited to:
- Canva.com for content curation
- Access to our Instagram analytics
- Access to professional photos and videos
- Access to copywriting software such as https://www.peppertype.ai/
- Access to an email marketing software
- Access to a previous Marketing research study made for our e-commerce store
- Access to video tutorials and training time
About the company

Throughout the years, La Connexional has (directly and indirectly) contributed over 60K in the African, Black, Caribbean and Latine communities. In 2018, we held the first ever Afro Latin Festival in Canada (which has grown from 150 attendees to 800 in 3 years). Many of our experiences being bilingual & economically accessible.
