The goal of this project is to conduct market research on the post-pandemic tendency of small businesses to buy locally, the demographics of local buyers, and the barriers small businesses are facing when it comes to buying locally.
We would like students to focus on:
- Providing suggestions on the strategic positioning of our services in order to facilitate local shopping for small businesses.
- Selecting the best research methodologies for gaining insights about project goals.
The final deliverables should take the form of a final report and presentation including:
- Providing rigorous and well-documented market research on the post-pandemic tendency of small businesses to buy locally, demographics of local buyers, and the barriers small businesses are facing when it comes to buying locally.
- An analysis of our current services and the positioning of our brand in relation to the post-pandemic shopping behaviors of small businesses.
- Providing a report on how our services are perceived by locally operated businesses and feedback on the compliance of our product with current market barriers.
Students will work closely with the company management team, receive mentorship, learn more about our innovative approach to supporting local businesses and work with our large community of local businesses.
