No skills listedSummary: Students will review current literature on effective teaching methods for health literacy with a focus on both general strategies and approaches tailored specifically for Indigenous youth. This research will inform the development of lesson plans that are aligned with health-related learning outcomes from the Ontario curriculum across multiple grade levels.
Deliverable: Report and Lesson Plans
Collaboration: Students will meet HMB490 students as needed to learn about the existing work completed related to the Health Literacy Initiative, and meet with Pueblo Science staff periodically to ensure the lessons are aligned with organizational priorities.
Providing specialized, in-depth knowledge and general industry insights for a comprehensive understanding.
Sharing knowledge in specific technical skills, techniques, methodologies required for the project.
