The project goal is to gather valuable insights and data from the target demographic (students) through comprehensive surveys, focus groups, and analysis of patterns in day-to-day activities and lifestyle choices. By understanding the preferences, behaviors, and needs of students, we aim to gain a deeper insight into their mindset and identify opportunities to better cater to their requirements. The data collected will be used to inform decision-making processes, develop targeted strategies, and enhance the overall student experience.

Deliverables
  1. Design and distribute surveys to collect data on student preferences and behaviors.
  2. Organize and participate in focus groups to gain deeper insights into student opinions.
  3. Analyze survey responses and focus group feedback to identify trends and patterns.
  4. Develop recommendations based on the data analysis to improve the student experience.
  5. Present findings and recommendations
  6. Be prepared with consuming resource material such as articles and podcasts that will be assigned to you to help you develop your research skills


Mentorship
  1. Staff Guidance: Faculty will provide guidance and mentorship throughout the project, offering advice on survey design, data analysis, and presentation skills.
  2. Access to Tools: Students will have access to survey tools and data analysis software needed for the project, such as Google Forms, Excel, and SPSS.
  3. Data Access: Relevant data necessary for the project will be provided to students, ensuring they have access to accurate and up-to-date information.
  4. Training Sessions: Workshops and training sessions will be conducted to enhance students' skills in survey design, data analysis, and presentation.
  5. Feedback Mechanism: A structured feedback mechanism will be in place to provide students with timely and constructive feedback on their progress and deliverables.
  6. Collaborative Environment: Opportunities for collaboration with peers and faculty will be encouraged, allowing students to learn from each other's experiences and insights.
