Details

This project should seek to understand

  • What other xPIRG groups are doing around this across the country and into the United States.
  • Secondary research on SDGs and their use in aligning strategy or action – or other secondary research agreed upon between group, OPIRG, and SDG.
  • Measure the impact made by working groups in recent years by conducting research, then communicate findings in a way that connects the impact to OPIRG’s mission statement.
  • Study the methods that other groups have followed to portray their respective identities with clarity, as well as accentuate their respective contributions to their communities.

At the culmination of the project we would have

  • Primary research on what UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) the leadership are interested in pushing within OPIRG – driven from mission and current staff, board perspectives,
  • Final template of report that would permit sharing of impact data with their stakeholders
  • A final report detailing suggested process interventions at the application, “contracting”, goal setting, milestone, and reporting stages that would align working groups with OPIRG around desired impacts
