Our mission is to empower newcomers to access affordable housing while helping them build strong financial foundation through our credit building product.
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development and Corporate Partnership officer to join our growing team.
Identify and Cultivate Partnerships:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for identifying and cultivating strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the real estate, financial, and immigration sectors.
- Establish and nurture relationships with potential corporate partners, including real estate agencies, financial institutions, and government agencies.
Business Development:
- Lead business development efforts to drive revenue growth and market expansion.
- Identify new business opportunities and markets for the company's rent guarantee and credit-building products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to tailor offerings to meet the needs of corporate partners.
Negotiation and Contract Management:
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts with corporate partners, ensuring mutually beneficial terms.
- Oversee the contract management process, ensuring compliance and effective execution.
Market Analysis and Intelligence:
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor strategies, and potential opportunities for business expansion.
- Stay informed about industry developments and regulatory changes that may impact the business.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of partnership initiatives.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of partnership initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on business development and partnership activities for leadership.
As the co-founder, co-CEO and CPO at Payfi, the interns will work directly with me learning about market sizing and research about addressable markets.
We will provide access to analytics tools like metabase and google analytics to help them understand the different metrics and activities that are result producing.
As a mentor with the following institutions, Founders Institute, Black professional technology network and Study and Succeed New Brunswick. The interns will benefit from my experience advising early founders on products and helping students with career paths.
