This opportunity is open to students in any field who are also artists who are interested in using Polyaula's state-of-the-art 3D printing technology and materials to create innovative, eco-focused works of art.
The artist internships will provide an honorarium to each selected artist who completes an 80-hour project. Finished work will be exhibited.
For student artists, this is a chance to make a mark on the art world, the tech world, and our region. For Polyaula, this is a chance to connect with our community and grow as a company. We hope to present the possibilities of robot-assisted creation to artists, as well as to inspire people to join in our mission to spread ecological solutions to people’s needs.
Applications for the artist internships are accepted continuously until we have allocated all available spaces. It is important to apply early. Multiple submissions are welcome. Applications should be sent by email and include a letter of interest, an accepted project proposal, and a portfolio. Applicants will be considered based on the clarity of the artist’s goals, their skill and proposed use of 3d printing, their project’s mission and values, and its relevance to important issues.
