Zinio Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype
Our company would like to explore designing a prototype for a native mobile application version of our current web based product. We currently have a lot of traffic to our product via the web and we would like to start to attempt to capture some of that user activity via a mobile application. Tasks may include: Conducting background research on our existing web application for the product. Identifying key areas of our current product and how they might translate to a mobile application. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android Conducting UX / UI testing with real potential users potentially involving paper prototypes or other software tools to support this
Graphic Design for Our NEW Product Suite
Velocity Tech, a leading provider of technology solutions for startups, is seeking a talented graphic design student to create a suite of engaging, innovative visuals for our 2024 product rollout. This project involves developing key graphic elements that will showcase our products' value and appeal to our target audience of early-stage startups and growing businesses. Our goal is to visually communicate the essence and value of the Velocity Tech Product Suite, including Velocity Launchpad, Velocity Expansion, Velocity Harmony, Velocity Advisor, Velocity Prototype, Velocity Scale, and Velocity Tech Audit, through compelling graphic design. These visuals will play a pivotal role in our marketing and communication strategies, aiding in the successful launch and promotion of our products.
Web Page Evaluation & Updating
Our company has been building digital solution for clients for a long time. However, our current website is outdated and requires updating of new services, features designs, look and feel. We would like to collaborate with students to evaluate our web pages and recommend areas for improvement. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Familiarizing themselves with the current structure of our website and our company’s products, target market, mission and vision statements. Conducting background research on factors that affect the quality of websites. Developing a set of criteria to evaluate our web pages and justifying the importance of each criterion. Evaluating our web pages based on the established criteria. Recommending areas for improvement on our website. Implementing changes to web pages.
Velocity Digital Marketing
The primary objective of this project is to expand Velocity Tech's digital presence and market penetration through innovative digital marketing strategies. Students will devise and implement a campaign that increases brand awareness, engages a target audience of SMEs, startups, and large enterprises, and ultimately drives higher conversion rates. Despite offering cutting-edge software solutions, Velocity Tech has yet to fully capitalize on digital marketing to reach its potential customers effectively across North America and Europe. The students will tackle the challenge of creating a digital marketing strategy that resonates with these markets, leveraging cost-effective methods to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.

Students will analyze and understand the existing framework of the Zinio TalentHub, focusing on its ERP contractor management system. 2. The project involves integrating modern technologies like React.js, Node.js, and AWS cloud services, ensuring the platform’s scalability and security. 4.
