APPLY MAR 3 - Level Up: Marketing Internship (SEO, Social Media)
Positions Available: 5 Students, individually or as a team working collaboratively Project Scope 1) On-Boarding and Training - Gain familiarity with the context (company strategy and goals, competitive landscape, industry trends) and update the competitive analysis to reflect recent changes. 2) Behavioral Assessment – Interns will be given access to Werrv's management tools (including https://get.luckyorange.com/ , Google Analytics and https://www.klaviyo.com/ to analyze customer behavioral patterns and identify opportunities to improve conversion rates (CRO) and critique our advertisement campaign focus. Based on recommendations, interns will be given an opportunity to test hypothesize to improve results through A/B testing of content, preparing customer online surveys and other means. 3) SEO Improvement Plan - Review Werrv's existing SEO Improvement Plan for both Domain Authority and Page Authority which will be shared with Interns. Over the duration of the internship Interns will be involved in executing SEO improvements, including content creation in the form of blog posts, buyers guides and SEO meta tags for Collections. 4) Social Media – Assess current use and voice of Social media platforms (refer to separate Social Media Strategy document and identify the best opportunities to engage our target audiences. Prioritize the best opportunities for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest and most recently, TikTok. Produce interesting content pieces to improve engagement. Our retail website platform is Shopify and we will give you access to the website and other organizational assets to support this project. Work can be completed remotely and online brainstorming and update meetings can be done via Microsoft Teams, Zoom or other preferred platforms. Communications - Engaging Content Creation and Curation
We are looking to work with creative and ambitious students to create relevant, engaging blog and social media content related to our core business of selling parts and accessories to Recreational Vehicle (RV) and Boat owners. Content may be in the form of Blog Posts, short form social media posts and Infographics. Tools will be funded as required to support creation of unique content. Students may also be able to develop advertising messages and A/B test the results of various ads in real time during the project. Project Scope 1) Research & Initial Strategic Hypothesis - Gain familiarity with the context for a half day (company goals, competitive landscape, industry trends) and the current state and topical issues of content 2) Prioritize – identify a list of topics to develop content around, prioritizing topics of most interest/level of engagement, ease of curation/creation from reliable sources, and relevance to target customer personas. Categorize by channel/type of content. 3) Create/Curate Content – Write content pieces identified above and recommend a calendar/sequence of release dates. 4) Live Analysis and Strategy Refinement – As a bonus, there is the opportunity for students to get live feedback/observation of their work based on A/B testing and, for Blog Post items on the Werrv Website we have the "Lucky Orange" App that allows us to replay users' actual interaction with website content, noting things like how quickly they scrolled though content, where they clicked, etc. and the ability to post surveys and gain user feedback. Level UP - Programming Projects:: Python, VBA, GraphQL/REST APIs
Positions Available: 4 Students We're looking for students with solid experience in one or more of the following technology areas to tackle technology projects on our list of priorities: Python Visual Basic (VBA/Excel) Graph QL and/or REST API Integrations Microsoft Power Automate You bring solid technical experience and enthusiasm to code business solutions. We'll help you build your portfolio of coding accomplishments to talk about in future interviews. . We have a pending list of programing projects that we want done and will match candidates to a subset of the following priority projects. Individual Projects 1) A REST API integration between Shopify and our accounting system to create commercial invoices for international orders. 2) An update to our existing GraphQL API integration between WordPress and Shopify. 3) A REST API integration between WordPress and one of our commercial suppliers. 4) An API integration between our supply chain system and Shopify. 5) A Product information analyzer and parser in VBA/Excel. 6) Several Power Automate ( https://powerautomate.microsoft.com/en-ca/ ) routines to automate tacks like shipment tracking , order processing and other tasks. 7) A stand alone website and database to gather and display information about brand consolidation in the industry. Expand Market Through Spanish, Portuguese and Italian Websites
Positions Available: 1-3 Student We are looking to work with a creative and ambitious student who is fluently bilingual/trilingual with excellent Spanish and Italian language writing skills and solid English language skills to oversee and quality check a project that extends our services at Werrv ( https://werrv.com/ ) to Spanish and Italian and, possibly Portuguese. We already have our website in English and French ( https://werrv.ca/fr ). Our goal is to serve a broader international audience lives at reasonable prices. Relax, the job is not as daunting as you might think, because of our technology solutions, but, it can be very fun and a great learning opportunity.. Project Scope 1) Research - Gain familiarity with the context (company goals, competitive landscape, industry trends) and identify potential translation challenges, if applicable, such as Brand name conventions in key markets. 2) Assessment – Assess optimization around language variants - Spanish, versus Mexican Spanish versus Caribbean Spanish, etc. and recommend which translator to use and implement it in a test store to do quality assurance testing of a sample of translations. Identify and document residual gaps/weaknesses for business risk/impact assessment. 3) Implementation – Subject to satisfactory QA results in test, validation implement the automated translations in the store and oversee the automated translation of all products. Most work will be completed automatically using our existing technology solutions. A primary focus is on final QA sampling of results to ensure overall quality is maintained. Once the store is translated, some additional translation will be required for marketing e-mails and then you will be able to admire your work in action as we take the site live for customers. 4) Bonus - Social Media – Time permitting, implement a French instance of Facebook and Instagram to be maintained on an ongoing basis by the company.
