Accelerate Her Future™ is a career accelerator providing self-identified Black, Indigenous and racialized women tailored programs to launch their careers in business and STEM while building networks of solidarity, allyship and action.
Looking to upskill for your future? AHF’s Virtual Career Accelerator is a by-application, 16-week program for self-identifying Black, Indigenous and racialized women residing in Ontario. Successful participants will engage in career readiness bootcamps, take part in one of three technical upskilling tracks, explore mental health and well-being strategies, while having access to small-group mentorship and career coaching. The program is rounded out with a short-term team project opportunity with a small or medium sized organization to cultivate your newly acquired skills. This experiential learning opportunity is 20 hours per individual over a 4-5 week period with a paid stipend.

Data Analytics Fundamentals

Bring entry-level data analysts to your organization. Participants will begin this 5-week project-based experience after completing an 8-week upskilling part-time course in data analytics fundamentals. Participants will have the foundational skills to organize and analyze data using Google sheets, make charts and visualizations with spreadsheets, write database queries with SQL, create dashboards with Tableau, and tell compelling stories using data. Participants will attend a virtual orientation with AHF and Riipen on November 2nd, 2022 at 6-7:00pm ET and will work on projects between Nov 14th - Dec 16th, 2022.
Intro to Front-End Web Development with JavaScript

Bring entry-level front-end developers to your organization. Participants will begin this 5-week project-based experience after completing a 6-week upskilling track in front-end web development with JavaScript. Participants will have the foundational skills to build responsive, interactive, and dynamic websites and landing pages using HTML CSS & JavaScript. Participants will attend a virtual orientation with AHF and Riipen on November 2nd, 2022 at 6-7:00pm ET and will work on projects between Nov 14th - Dec 16th, 2022.
UX & Digital Marketing Fundamentals

Bring entry-level user experience design and digital marketing support to your organization. Participants will begin this 5-week project-based experience after completing an 8-week upskilling part-time course in UX & Digital Marketing Fundamentals. Participants will have the foundational skills in user experience design and digital marketing, ready to apply design thinking and user personas to guide building digital products using in-demand tools such as Figma, Miro, Notion and Glide. Participants will attend a virtual orientation with AHF and Riipen on November 2nd, 2022 at 6-7:00pm ET and will work on projects between Nov 14th - Dec 16th, 2022.
