The primary focus for the student will be:

  • Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for entering a new market; develop a go-to-market digital strategy;
  • Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion).
Deliverables

Our goal at the end of this experience is:

  • Strategy - For the student(s) to help us capture increased market share; for the student(s) to help us capture new revenue streams through our Shopify Website and for the student(s) to help us secure new funding.
  • Marketing - For the student(s) to help us reach more customers, effectively promote our brand, mission, and story online.
  • Sales - For the student(s) to help us roll-out better prospecting that increases online conversion rates and boost our sales.
Mentorship

Students will work closely with the primary project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will also include occasional progress meetings where adjustments to the students' tasks and duties can be made if necessary.

We are a 4 generation tea shop that has been in operation for 15 years. We sell organic, fair trade loose leaf tea and tea accessories. We have 300 teas to choose from and currently have about 150 custom blends. We are looking to expand our internal business processes in order to scale our organization in an efficient and effective manner.
