What is the main goal for this project?

Nutrition Opportunities Worldwide aims to expand its online presence and enhance its research capabilities. The project focuses on increasing the company's LinkedIn and Instagram followings through strategic content creation. This includes writing reviews of scientific articles on nutrition, reporting on events and UN reports, and summarizing webinars attended by the company. Additionally, the project involves creating engaging Instagram posts related to nutrition, food safety, and public health. The team will also assist with day-to-day desk research needs, sourcing funding opportunities, and helping to write grant applications for current projects. The goal is to leverage social media to build a larger, more engaged audience while also supporting the company's research and funding efforts.

What tasks will learners need to complete to achieve the project goal?

- A series of LinkedIn posts, including reviews of scientific articles, event reports, and webinar summaries.

About the company

Nutrition Opportunities Worldwide (Nutritionops) is a network of nutrition consultants who bring nutritional science insights to projects where there needs to be communication across different sectors. Consultants (PhD/MSc food science and nutritionists) have corporate food industry experience and the company aims to work on nutrition development projects which need a commercial lens. As such we aim to help deliver SDG2. We have acted as consultants on a number of USAID projects in various countries. Work done would include literature reviews, market and product reviews, nutrition product innovation research , dietary surveys, project evaluation reports, policy analysis, regulatory assessments and training/knowledge transfer workshops as needed. The goal of the company is to grow from a loose network of consultants into a mid size consultancy business with an international reputation for good work done well.
