Our organization is able to offer a virtual internship opportunity for 3 computer science students or teams.
CustomerDiscovery.co is a two sided marketplace dedicated to helping founders build tech driven products that people love and connecting them to the people that love them. We aim to be the #1 customer discovery platform that every early stage founder goes to. when they have a new idea that they want to validate and iterate upon.
The primary focus for the student will be: to create our. two sided marketplace platform that helps founders validate and iterate their ideas with direct user research.
- Website Development - Conducting a needs analysis to determine which platform is most suitable for our website; creating a design proposal including mock-ups, budget, and timeline; building a fully-functioning website for our organization.
- Application Development - Selecting the best technologies for creating the application or feature (i.e. a real-time chat function); creating a fully-functioning application.
Our goal at the end of this experience is: We need to have a fully functional website created from the designers prototypes and have several core features. These core features include 1) news feed 2) a native video chat feature (like zoom but coded with something like twilio) 3) a matching. algorithm that matches founders to early adopters based on. profile data/tags
- Website Development - For the student(s) to complete a fully functioning website.
- Application Development - For the student(s) to create a fully functioning application.
- Database Analysis - For the student(s) to help us improve our data storage and querying.
Other duties the student may complete could include: (indicate other duties as exemplified below)
- Software vendor research and evaluation
- Assisting with other process improvement projects
- Unit and integration testing
We will plan to communicate with our virtual intern using these communication tools: (company slack, email)
