Now that Trelent is ready to go to market, we need to actually go to market! We want students to try their hand at marketing over the summer, and gain practical experience while having the flexibility to try new ideas!
Throughout the project, you will work on the following:
- Design & plan out your own marketing campaign for Trelent
- Run your campaign with an initial budget of $250
Over the course of your internship, you will have 80 hours to design, implement and run your initial campaign. Throughout this time, you will have access to any resources you require for this campaign. If your campaign returns more than $250 in revenue within the duration of this internship, we will excitedly discuss additional opportunities available at Trelent which would be outside the scope of this internship.
Campaign restrictions:
We expect all students to spend some time acquainting themselves with Trelent and it's features. Every participating student will be provided a demo account on Trelent to accomplish this. With this in mind, we expect all marketing campaigns to be equitable and honest - don't sell features that don't exist just to increase your earnings.
Additionally, although we want to open the floor to campaign ideas, we will require an overview of the campaign before it is launched to ensure that it is in line with our brand.
Learning outcomes:
- You will gain practical marketing experience
- Learn how to optimize marketing campaigns
Our goals:
- Explore and experiment innovative marketing strategies
- Grow Trelent's brand awareness
- Increase Trelent's MRR (monthly recurring revenue)
Students will always have direct access to myself (Calum Bird, Founder & CEO of Trelent), and any other employees at Trelent throughout the internship period. Additional, external mentorship may be available through our personal networks as well, if deemed appropriate and/or necessary.
