Redesigning Trelent's client dashboard

Positions available: 5 Trelent's client dashboard is in need of a refresh! We want students to try their hand at building components of a user-friendly dashboard for our customers to manage their Trelent services. Throughout the project, each student will work on the following: Design & mock-up a basic idea for a new dashboard layout (even just a drawing!) Vote on other students' design concepts Collaboratively develop the most highly-voted design into a prototype Over the course of your internship, you will have start by mocking up a simple design for how you envision the next version of our client dashboard. We don't expect too much - even a simple drawing will do! You will have 5 hours allocated to this initial sketch, after which you will rank each-others designs. The highest-ranking design will be sent to Trelent for approval, and then development will begin. Each student will be assigned a component of the winning dashboard to build. Certain components may require two students to collaborate. All students will have direct access to Trelent's existing development team for suggestions, advice and mentorship throughout this process. This dashboard will be built primarily using React, and as a group students will have the freedom to choose additional frameworks to help them. Students are not expected to have prior experience with React, and this is a learning outcome. Participants will use Github to collaborate on the project, and will be provided an initial boiler-plate project to build from. More detailed instructions will be provided upon acceptance into this project. We will be using Notion for project management. Students will be provided access to a demo account on Trelent to get a feel for the current dashboard. Learning outcomes: Learn how to collaborate on software development projects using Git Leverage React to build high-performance web apps Use CloudFlare Workers to run the dashboard in a serverless environment Our goals: Improve the Trelent user experience Dramatically increase the performance of our user-facing dashboard Transition fully to a serverless dashboard to reduce infrastructure-related work

Marketing Trelent

Positions available: 20 Now that Trelent is ready to go to market, we need to actually go to market! We want students to try their hand at marketing over the summer, and gain practical experience while having the flexibility to try new ideas! Throughout the project, you will work on the following: Design & plan out your own marketing campaign for Trelent Run your campaign with an initial budget of $250 Over the course of your internship, you will have 80 hours to design, implement and run your initial campaign. Throughout this time, you will have access to any resources you require for this campaign. If your campaign returns more than $250 in revenue within the duration of this internship, we will excitedly discuss additional opportunities available at Trelent which would be outside the scope of this internship. Campaign restrictions: We expect all students to spend some time acquainting themselves with Trelent and it's features. Every participating student will be provided a demo account on Trelent to accomplish this. With this in mind, we expect all marketing campaigns to be equitable and honest - don't sell features that don't exist just to increase your earnings. Additionally, although we want to open the floor to campaign ideas, we will require an overview of the campaign before it is launched to ensure that it is in line with our brand. Learning outcomes: You will gain practical marketing experience Learn how to optimize marketing campaigns Our goals: Explore and experiment innovative marketing strategies Grow Trelent's brand awareness Increase Trelent's MRR (monthly recurring revenue)
