Details

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization.

Big Little Books is a registered non-profit that wants to inspire a new generation of young Ontario readers in this current age of social media. Through friendly tournaments and thought-provoking workshops, we hope to increase youth engagement with literacy by creating memorable moments with their fellow peers. Working with schools and libraries across Ontario, we hope to support underserved communities and their youth.

Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools.

If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.

Deliverables

To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will:

  • Assist with a social media to promote our organization and projects (i.e., promote podcast + general organization)
  • Help drive engagement with our organization through social media
  • Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story
Mentorship

Students will work with the project manager who is supervising and available for questions. This will include weekly progress meetings to discuss any updates and questions.
