Currently we are focusing on marketing our new line of soaps and candles to the public. Goal : Marketing Communications & Public Relations Objectives: 1. Recommend advertising and PR materials; create an integrated marketing campaign 2. Develop and implement a PR strategy; create collateral, including press releases, user testimonials, case studies, and customer stories. Our goal at the end of this experience is: Branding and Marketing Communications - Help us improve our brand's presence and capture greater market share. Market Research - Help us gain a better understanding of our target market and ensure we are optimally positioned and our product and pricing aligns with our target sector/customer. Public Relations - Help us effectively communicate our brand's story and mission to a broad audience.
Creating Graphic Design Assets
Our company has had the same design assets, and although we have enjoyed this branding, we are looking to revamp and update our brand book. This may involve: Creating a new branding guide that is new, but still aligned with our existing branding including fonts, colors, logo usage and imagery to be used. Meeting with the project manager to evaluate the choices made for the branding book to ensure it is aligned with company branding goals, and making any necessary revisions. Designing and presenting thumbnails for design assets (banner ad, illustration, infographic, etc) based on the branding guide to be included in a proposal and presented to the project manager. Executing the full designs for each branding asset using Canva, based on the approved thumbnails. Creating multiple thumbnails with different color schemes based on the colors in the branding guide.

UX Software Development
The problem the learner will be solving is to take a premade app icon, which consists of the following; textbook; shopping cart; and graduation hat, and create a more simplistic, fluid, and visually appealing icon, which is also appealing to university students. Additionally, the learner will assist in UX Software development of the icon, and the website, creating a user friendly, attractive, and simplistic website.
