Interaction Design (Frontend Web and Mobile App UI / UX Design & Prototype)
For our startup in the initial stage, the main objective of this project is to create an interaction design for a frontend web and mobile app UI/UX that embodies a seamless, user-friendly experience for managing contributions. The app aims to facilitate trust-based group savings, secure payments, and trackable contributions, ultimately supporting financial empowerment. Tasks may include: Research & Ideation: Analyze our app's purpose, target audience, and goals to ensure alignment with the UI/UX design. Conduct user journey mapping to understand user flow and key touchpoints. Compile and present initial design ideas, personas, and mood boards. Wireframing and Information Architecture Develop low-fidelity wireframes for all core screens (registration, group creation, payment tracking, escrow, and notifications). Define a clear information hierarchy that highlights intuitive navigation for the main features. Learning and using various software design tools. We strongly recommend students learn how to use Figma as this is the latest and greatest tool currently available. High-Fidelity UI Design Design high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile, focusing on accessibility, clean layout, and brand colors. Ensure that key actions (group creation, payment scheduling, payout tracking) are visually prominent. Prototype Development Build a clickable prototype that allows for interaction testing (e.g., onboarding, joining a group, viewing contribution status). Ensure the prototype includes animations or transitions for an engaging, responsive user experience. Creation of a screen by screen UX / UI prototype of a native mobile application which can be used on both iOS and Android User Flow and Interaction Testing Conduct usability testing sessions with potential users to gather feedback on the prototype. Refine designs based on feedback, focusing on improving flow, accessibility, and ease of navigation.

Digital Media Creation for Introductory Statistics
NeuroKeep aims to enhance the learning experience in introductory-level statistics courses by developing engaging and modern digital instructional materials. The goal is to create a suite of creative and artistic content that can make complex statistical concepts more accessible and enjoyable for students. This project involves designing a variety of digital media, including images, videos, GIFs, and potentially 3D models, to visually represent statistical ideas and principles. Additionally, students will create unique content for an introductory stats course that will be delivered via adaptive educational software. The focus is on producing content that is both educational, visually appealing, and helps students learn stats concepts in the most impactful way.
