Social Enterprise B-Corporation Certification Plan

To achieve B-Corporation certification, Aurora Heat, Inc. must receive a minimum score on social and environmental performance. This is an online assessment that is overseen by the independent body that certifies B-Corporations (the B Lab). The assessment covers our entire operations and measures our impact in governance, workers, community, the environment, as well as our products and services. We also must integrate sustainability commitments to stakeholders into our governing documents. Project focus should include: An assessment of our current score, which will allow us to identify our areas for improvement. A strategic plan, based on the score assessment that identifies the areas in which we need to improve performance to achieve the threshold score for B-Corporation certification. The final project deliverable is a 10-page written report detailing our current score, areas for improvement, and a strategic plan for meeting the B-Corporation certification requirements within an 8-week period or less.

This project would require someone to gain a high-level understanding of the product, conduct the competitive analysis and compile the results. KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES/TÂCHES ASSOCIÉES AU PROJET: The below steps and requirements need to be completed for the following products: Cable Internet DSL Internet Fibre Internet Required Analysis: Research a minimum of 3 key competitors in the industry that specializes in the product Compile key competencies and advantages as well as pricing of the product. Identify keywords most often used by web browsers. Make contact (if required) with the competitors to obtain pricing information. This may include being a “mystery shopper”. Assemble data obtained into an easily digestible format (tables, charts, graphs, etc). Present report and findings. Each Product will require being updated in internal documentation systems, auditing of data and pricing across multiple platforms and utilizing internal tools to understand how these new Products should be related internally. We provided mobile phone charging equipment to special events, across North America. Once servicing events was no longer an option, we began creating and selling web based Augmented Reality activations. The project we would like assistance with is creating marketing strategies and calenders for each offering. SOS Charging Solutions is an active member of the special event community, globally. Our Founder, Joel, is the leader of the International Live Event Association for Canada. We have an established customer base that we look forward to working with again, as live events such as conferences and conventions resume. SOS Web AR is a tech startup that is less than 2 years old. We are driven to become the most diverse team in tech and provide employment opportunities to those who are underrepresented in the technology ecosystem. We are a small, dynamic, fun, and hardworking team with a wealth of experience to pass on to an intern.
