Interdisciplinary Authors - October 2023
This project will begin following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to author a variety of texts for publication. Topics and guidelines will be determined following the kick-off meeting. Participants will produce a finalised deliverable of a minimum 4500-word article. Applicants must be comfortable writing according to a variety of conventions and formats and within diverse topic-areas. Contact antarcticinstituteofficial@gmail.com for questions.
Public and Consumer Relations Intern - October 2023
This project will begin in October 1st following the kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The end-date for the project and deliverable submission deadline is October 31st at 11:59 PM MST. The aim of this initiative is to augment the recognition and public comprehension of the scholarly and literary works of Golden Meteorite Press. As a Public and Consumer Relations Intern, your role will be crucial in executing innovative marketing and PR methodologies designed to proficiently articulate the Press's objectives, academic pursuits, and literary triumphs to a wide-ranging audience. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with diverse teams to craft compelling content and promotional assets, maximizing the utilization of various media outlets to extend our influence, and employing analytical feedback to polish our promotional approaches. By enhancing the public's awareness of Golden Meteorite Pressβs contributions, your inventive efforts and commitment will contribute to creating a more knowledgeable and interconnected community. This will further propel Golden Meteorite Press's dedication to the proliferation of literary insight and fostering a profound comprehension of varied themes through the medium of literature. Your involvement will not only underscore our commitment to enriching literary understanding but also reinforce our pursuit to connect and enlighten communities through the power of written words.
Multidisciplinary Creatives - January 2024
This project will begin following a kick-off meeting and orientation for all student-hires. The Antarctic Institute of Canada (AIC) is a non-profit organization that conducts research activities, academic mentorship programs, and equity building through a variety of government-funded work initiatives for undergraduate and graduate students. The AIC is seeking post-secondary students currently enrolled in a post-secondary program to participate in producing diverse creative deliverables for public dissemination and consumption. All participants are expected to possess the adaptability and willingness to navigate and compose within diverse stylistic and structural conventions, spanning multiple subject domains, reinforcing the holistic and encompassing nature of this initiative
