I think my internship experience with EsportsHow was very interesting and thought provoking on how I navigate the internet. As it stands, I’ve learned a lot from my time using the internet. However, I often forget what it’s like for those who don’t have as much experience on the internet as I do. The way that EsportsHow markets towards people who are more prone to tying a question into the internet in order to get a step by step guide on their dilemma was really fascinating to me. It’s an audience that I completely forget exists when you’re doing your Search Engine Optimization and is very interesting and important to any business that wants to succeed in propagating their name and credibility.

The internship at Esports How provided me with proper exposure and helped me develop my soft skills in order to function better in a team environment. The reoccurring meetings helped me direct my attention to the more important things I should be focusing on due to the time frame given. The only issue I had with my time here was the uneven time spent on certain tasks. Overall, I got exposure to new tasks like working on competitive analysis, and I got to work with others to gain insight on my graphics and logo designs. I really enjoyed my time here.

I had a great opportunity to work in a team environment. As a person who had a very first professional, team setting work experience, the Esports How team and other Rebranding team members were very helpful. Whether it be expanding on my more technical skills, or working on my creative abilities, I feel that working with Esports How has definitely given me a chance to build a foundation of job experience in this field. Each of the mentorship sessions were also great since they helped me with a very technical aspect of finding a job in the field of esports. It was a one of a kind experience overall.

We received consistent feedback from the employer right down to the little details which helped improve our attention to detail when we wrote the articles. We also received tools and video guides that were very helpful in improving our writing, as well as the flexibility in choosing areas that we were comfortable with and could refine our research skills in over the internship period.
