Digital Content Creation

We would like students to help us with creating content that is aligned with our vision, mission, and sector. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of what these elements are for our organization. We are looking for individuals with creative and unique perspectives to work on strategies to create a larger online presence for Bridal Couture To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write blog articles, email newsletters/sequences and other content pieces on assigned topics Assist with a social media video launch to promote our organization Evaluate recent successful user-generated campaigns, preferably in our sector Identify media outlets that are most beneficial to share our story Ultimately, you will be working on content creation for our organization, including video, social media, and other collateral that we can use as go-to marketing tools. A student or team with excellent writing and video skills would be the ideal candidate for this project.

Event Management

For this Project we are looking for individuals to organize an event to promote our new Spring line. Students will have to create a timeline and map out logistics in order to successfully plan the event. We are looking for creative individuals with an interest in Fashion, Marketing or Logistics. Students will create a timeline for the event to showcase all the activities for the day of the event. They will then create a marketing campaign to advertise the event, this will include social media content as well curating emails to be sent to our email distribution lists. Lastly, students will connect with local vendors to see if they would like to participate in our event. User Experience Design

eHacks Events is a non-profit dedicated to providing interdisciplinary learning experiences to post-secondary students across the country. To facilitate this mission, we run competitions and events with workshops, networking, and mentorship to help students collaborate in cross-functional teams and build new skillsets. Many of these events, like our flagship event, is free for students to attend. To ensure we focus our resources on the students who would benefit most, we require students to fill out an application to attend. We would like to improve our website to collect these applications, manage user accounts, and inform applicants of their admission decisions. Our current website is built in Node.JS, Express, React, and MongoDB (aka the MERN stack), and we would like to build these new functionalities using the same technologies. Students working on this project can expect to learn the following: Use Figma to develop a responsive website Create a cohesive design strategy to match eHacks' brand Work collaboratively with developers and product owners to adapt design as needed

Blog Creation

For the scope of this project, the student will be tasked with launching our new Blog section on our website. This will encompass designing the layout, style, and focus for our blog. The student will also create some blogs to start and launch the new section. Within this project students will be able to utilize their design thinking skills. To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Design the blog layout and create the theme and style Write blog posts for the launch of our blog strategically decide on the focus for our blogs If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you.
