The onboarding process is smooth and there is a lot of helpful documentation, the code base itself is well designed and it is easy to see how all the parts work together, and Ryan's feedback in code reviews is invaluable. There is also a lot of guidance regarding any topics you may not be familiar with.

Ryan has been supportive all the way! Whenever there is question he is always available to answer that. If sometimes we needed to go through stuff 2-3 times he made time to be available to provide all assistance! Extremely professional! He has strong grip on the tech stack and domain of his application Iota golf which is a huge application! It is quite impressive how he has managed to build and maintain this application while coordinating with all new students and tracking and assisting us in our individual tickets/assignment.

I enjoyed the project and found it helpful for gaining practical experience and improving my skills. This was the first time I worked on an unfamiliar project with a large codebase. Ryan provided fantastic feedback throughout the project, ensuring that we produced quality code and not quick fixes. The weekly meetings and standups were great opportunities to check-in with everyone else’s progress, receive feedback, and resolve any blocks we encountered with our projects.

The platform contains a lot of files with large-scale code, I had an excellent opportunity to go over and read those complex files. I found it a little odd at first, but eventually, I got comfortable with it. Ryan offered me helpful explanations and guidance, responded promptly, and explained the problem/ticket more if I needed to. Thanks!

Working with the employers was a good experience. I was able to do my tasks effectively with the given assignments. I was also able to communicate with my peers on who's doing what and provide feedback on each other for further improvements.
