Lean Startup Business Strategy Development for Journal

Our team has noticed that our product development and operational processes are not as efficient as they have the potential to be. We want to simplify these processes to make them more “lean” in order to make them less costly and more adaptable to customer feedback at a fast pace. We are seeking an intern to assist us with developing a lean startup strategy for our new business venture. As an intern, you will: Conduct market research to identify potential customer segments, understand their needs, and develop customer personas. Work with our team to develop a cost-effective minimum viable product that meets customer needs. Conduct interviews/surveys with potential customers to validate assumptions, gather feedback, and iterate on the MVP. Develop a business model canvas that outlines our value proposition, revenue streams, cost structure, and key partnerships. Create a pitch deck that effectively communicates our business idea, value proposition, and growth potential.

Financial Business Plan for a Journal

We are excited to be launching a new journal, International Journal of AI-Assisted Research in Psychology with a mission to advance the field of psychology through the publication of high-quality research that has been assisted by artificial intelligence. With any launch, having a financial plan is one of the keys to success, and we would like to involve students in creating one for our new venture. This will involve several different steps for the students, such as: Learning about our business strategy to become familiar with our goals, mission, and products. Creating forecasts using Excel (or another financial software) for sales in the first year of operation as well as an income projection (conservative and aggressive). Working with our team to develop an expense budget. Conducting a break-even analysis timeline using financial projections. Reporting on projected assets and liabilities.
