Leigh Cassell is a mom, educator, adventurer, and entrepreneur. She is a partner in learning with teachers, students, businesses and NGOs around the world. Leigh is an Innovation Consultant, and Founder and CEO of Digital Human Library. Leigh is a dynamic influencer and reflective practitioner, highly skilled in building networked learning communities in ways that facilitate relationships for learning, build critical digital literacies, cultivate emotional intelligence and nurture leadership in education.
Leigh studied English Literature at the University of Western Ontario. She graduated with an HBA, and then completed a 2 year B.Ed Program at Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, NS. Leigh has received the highest level of awards from the Ontario Public School Board Association, the Ontario Library Association, and the Ontario Teachers Federation, and she has been recognized internationally by Apple, Microsoft and Google for her innovation in education.

Improving Google Analytics for Digital Human Library
Digital Human Library seeks to enhance its Google Analytics (G4) tracking capabilities to better understand user interactions across different domains. The current setup provides basic insights, but there is a need for more detailed tracking to refine service offerings and deliver tailored information to customers. The project aims to configure and optimize Google Analytics to capture comprehensive data, enabling the company to make informed decisions based on user behavior. By improving tracking accuracy and granularity, Digital Human Library can identify trends, measure engagement, and evaluate the effectiveness of its digital resources. This project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web analytics, data interpretation, and digital marketing strategies in a real-world context. - Analyze the current Google Analytics setup and identify areas for improvement. - Develop a plan to implement enhanced tracking features and configurations. - Test and validate the new tracking setup to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Provide recommendations for ongoing analytics maintenance and optimization.

Digital Human Library (dHL) is looking for an individual or class to collaborate with our team to complete our Phase 2 our of Project. PHASE 2: Research new virtual tours and virtual reality experiences based on the criteria provided to grow our library of virtual content and create new learning opportunities for K-12 students.
PHASE 1 - K-12 Education VT & VR Database Validation Project
Digital Human Library (dHL) brings people together in service of youth and learning. Digital Human Library (dHL) is looking for a individual or class to collaborate with our team to complete Phase 1 of our Project. PHASE 1: Validate dHL's existing library of virtual tours and virtual reality experiences to ensure it is safe and relevant for K-12 students for the 2024-2025 academic year. Add new curated tours to the dHL database. PHASE 2 (POSTED AS A SEPARATE PROJECT): Research new virtual tours and virtual reality experiences based on the criteria provided to grow our library and create new learning opportunities for K-12 students.
