Based on the Google Analytics data, students will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the company's website, including the strengths and weaknesses of the website's navigation structure, page layout, content, search engine optimization settings, etc. and will provide concrete suggestions to improve the website. Students will investigate the company's historical advertising performance and propose an implementation plan for a two-week digital ad campaign. The company decides the objectives and the budget of the campaign and will provide the ad content. Students will design keywords/target audience settings, the bidding strategy and the daily ads schedule. The company will select one from the students' plans and execute it. The campaign performance will be counted in students' grades.

Students dedicate 80-hours per project and receive a $1,400 CAD stipend upon successful completion. Employers provide the projects and Riipen provides the student stipend! These projects provide students with the opportunity to gain real-world experience by solving a specific social, business, design, or community related problem for an industry partner. These projects typically take place over a 4-6 week period. At the end of the projects students will be asked to present their solution to the industry partner. 4GR3 is the capstone course for the GR0 program. It has been designed to incorporate problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and self-management to provide students with the opportunity to work collaboratively with peers. During this course students analyze real business problems and create innovative and holistic solutions by partnering with leading and progressive sectoral organizations. This is a great opportunity to have fourth year Commerce students provide consulting-type work focused on a challenge or scenario that is important to your organization! What does client/community partner engagement look like? Clients will provide the students with a case or challenge (consulting, research, etc). Organizations will be committing to at least one term, Fall or Winter, for the 2023-24 academic year. There are 3 in-person components required for the clients; project kick-off, client check-in, and final presentations

The McMaster InSight Collective is a co-curricular program which exists to fulfill an opportunity for students to develop hard marketing skills that are in demand today, achieve local impact in the community, and bring students one step closer to being industry ready. Each semester, students in the InSight Collective program will work in teams of five to not only fulfill client objectives, but to advance their learnings outside of the classroom. Students will specialize in the development of strategic and creative marketing skills, and will be trained by industry professionals in order to ensure confidence before working with clients.
