Virtual Internship Opportunity: Business Development

We are fostering the next generation of business leaders who are critical thinkers, demonstrate inclusivity, and aspire to make a positive impact in their communities.”The primary focus for the student will be:Branding - cobrand the Illuminate Leadership Curriculum with high school student clubs across the country and coordinate Illuminate university "buddies" to teach the curriculum. Marketing Communications - work with the Marketing and Communications Manager to push out content, develop KPIs for recruitment, and activate funnels to generate more qualified Illuminate Leadership Academy applicants. Partnerships - develop meaningful mini co-op curriculums with contacts you already have in your network to grow the Illuminate corporate partnership family.

Training Module Development

We want to be known as an organization that values the development of our people. To assist us in this goal, we would like to collaborate with students to design training programs. We have an idea of areas where training could be implemented, but we would also appreciate insight on recommended training and development areas. The main goal is for students develop a fully functional training course for our business partners.

Business Administration

The primary focus for the student will be: (Remove any that don't apply)Strategy - Develop an implementation plan for entering a new market; develop a go-to-market strategy; identify new funding and grant opportunities, write proposals.Operations - Recommend process improvements or redesign processes; develop improvements to supply chain processes; introduce quality assurance into our internal processes.Marketing - Complete a full customer, competitor, market, and environmental analysis; complete a marketing strategy review; design a new marketing strategy (product, place, price, and promotion); Sales - Design a new/improved prospecting process for our sales team; design a new/improved pricing or service structure.Talent - Design a new/improved recruitment process; develop a diversity and inclusion strategy; design a new/improved employee engagement program.Students will create and set up a high school Illuminate club, or university reading buddy program with our National Partner.

Project Management Intern

We are looking for students to play a role as project manager. A student in this position will understand the logistical aspects of the team’s projects and assist with execution and tracking performance.
