B2B (B2I + B2G) Increasing Revenue for Sports & Theatre Seating
This would be a B2B marketing request (We do work with Government and Institutional clients in addition to some private businesses). The goal of the project would be to grow revenue for a particular business line: Spectator Seating for Sports facilities, Theatres and Auditoriums. We are the exclusive Canadian distributor (except ON & QC) of a leading manufacturer of stadium and theatre seating. We are looking to grow this part of our business. The bulk of the work we do is sport flooring and equipment for gymnasiums and recreation centres across the country. Examples of some projects where we have supplied sports surfacing: Kitsilano Secondary School, Richmond Olympic Oval, Thunderbird Stadium, BC Place, Nat Bailey Stadium etc.. While we would be looking to grow the sports and stadium seating part of the business I am thinking the particular focus for the project could be on the theatre and auditorium market. We are well connected within the sports facility space but much less so in the Performing Arts space. However if the project makes more sense to include the sports market as well that’s great (unsure of how narrow or wide is best for the project?) Digital Content Creation
Positions available: 2 We would like students to help us with creating content for our website. We will ensure the student has a clear understanding of deliverables and understanding of our brand identity expectations. We have recently redesigned our website ( http://centaurproducts.com/ ) are in need of assistance for the writing, editing and populating of content (using Wordpress CMS) including blog articles (for both website and social media). To accomplish this, we expect the student(s) will: Write, prepare and upload content for website as directed consisting mainly of: Product descriptions and images (image editing skills an asset but not mandatory): Key categories for content and population: Services and Maintenance Pages Volleyball and Badminton Equipment Spectator Seating Artificial Turf & Infill Options Scoreboards and Video Displays Customer case studies Blog/News Articles If you like the sound of our culture, and are ready to tackle this challenge with us, then we'd love to hear from you. We are looking for 2 students for a total of 160 hours. The ideal student/s would have excellent writing and image editing skills as well as basic knowledge of SEO principles. Experience or understanding of Wordpress CMS would be a benefit but not required. If populating content through Wordpress is not feasible than creating and compiling content for population also would be satisfactory.
Marketing Strategy Plan
We are a leader in the specialized sport facility construction industry in Canada with almost 50 years of experience. While we have worked on projects in several Indigenous communities over the years, we feel there is both a need and an opportunity to assist on a greater scale as a result of a lack of suitable areas where community members can exercise and play. We would like students to build a marketing strategy plan for Centaur to become the preferred partner of Indigenous communities for sports facility projects (ie. gymnasiums in schools, sports areas in recreation centres and arenas) across Canada. The main questions we’d like students to help us answer are the following: What is the go-to-market plan? Will we need to adjust our scope of work? If so, how? What federal/provincial grants are available? What are sales goals we should establish for 1, 3 and 5 years specific to the Indigenous communities? What investment would be required to implement the recommendations?
Strategic Management Consulting
We would like to better understand how our clients which are varied and include architects, General Contractors (GC), consultants, athletic and recreation staff at schools and post-secondary institutions, perceive our brand and competitors. We want to develop clarity on our competitive advantages and optimize our marketing strategy. This project will include: An identification of our current competitors The creation of a matrix identifying features shared across the companies and those that are different An analysis of the different business models An analysis of our current knowledge management practices and a recommendation for improvements A summary of 2-4 paragraphs describing our competitive advantages and disadvantages relative to the competition identified. This could be done in the form of a SWOT analysis. We will give you access to organizational assets to support this project such as personnel, website analytics, sales and brand collateral, and more. We will suggest names of competitors to research. Objective We hope to gain a comprehensive understanding of the competitors in our space and how we can differentiate ourselves through our product/service offering, and our messaging.
